EAL/D students are learning English as an additional language or dialect other than English and require additional support to develop proficiency in Standard Australian English (SAE) language.

With approximately 20% of our student population identifying as EAL/D learners, we ensure that we create and maintain supportive learning environments, assess student needs, monitor and report on achievement and plan for and implement effective teaching and learning.
At MPSS, we employ tailored supports and appropriate adjustments, to ensure that our EAL/D learners can access the Year Level curriculum and continue to develop in the knowledge and development of Standard Australian English.
