During the year, the school may undertake educational camps, excursions and incursions so that the students may acquire a variety of experiences outside the classroom.
Parent permission notes are required for all camps, excursions and incursions. Students who wish to participate in a camp, excursion or incursion must meet the school's requirements concerning appropriate dress and grooming and standard of conduct. Parents are required to meet associated costs where applicable. The school will endeavour to inform parents of any costs as early as possible through the excursion planner, emails and individual parent notes so that parents have as much time as possible to plan for this expenditure. Middle Park State School has a policy whereby in the majority of cases the information and invoice is issued for the camp, excursion or incursion five weeks prior to the event date, giving parents and carers four weeks to pay. There are occasions where the notice period is shorter than this however our goal is to provide parents with as much notice as possible.
