Parents' and Citizens' Association

​Middle Park State School's parent representative body, the P&C Association, is the voice of the parents and residents within the school community.  Committee meetings are held once a month and teachers, parents/guardians and local community members are encouraged to attend.

The P&C Association is a not-for-profit organisation governed by an elected executive team who are volunteers and work in partnership with the school community to enhance student outcomes.  The objectives of the P&C are to promote the interests and facilitate the development and further improvement of the school.  The P&C works closely with the school administration team to achieve these objectives.

The P&C Association governs the operations of the Tuckshop, P&C (Uniform) Shop and Outside School Hours Care service.

Opportunities to get involved

  • Volunteering at the Tuckshop and Uniform Shop
  • Arranging and/or attending social events such as discos and trivia nights
  • Fundraising, for example fetes and raffles
  • Special projects, including beautification of grounds and building projects
  • Attending P&C monthly meetings
  • Nominating for a position on the Executive: President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary.

You are also invited to participate in the positive sharing of information in our school community by joining the MPSS Parents Page on Facebook.  It is run by parents for the benefit of our community.  It is only open to parents/carers of current students from our school and is there for you to ask questions and share information that relates to our school.
