Middle Park State School​ has invested in computers and technology in the following ways:

  • 1:1 Device Program – All Year 2 to 5 classes use a BYOD iPad as a tool for learning, while Year 6 students use a BYOD laptop.

  • Shared pods of iPads for Prep and Year 1 classes.

  • Library pod of six PCs for specialised programs e.g. Solid Pathways.

  • Subscriptions to online programs including Mathletics, Mathseeds, Decodable Readers Australia and Scholastic Literacy Pro.

  • Access to STEM resources e.g. Minecraft, robotics, coding, electronics and engineering.

  • Augmented and alternative communication (AAC) programs to assist non-verbal communication.

  • Assistive technology to ensure equal access for all learners.

  • Partnership with Centenary State High School for annual Minecraft Challenge and 'Day of Tech'.

  • Green screen movie making resources.

  • Interactive panel TVs in each classroom.

  • TV display screens in meeting rooms.

  • Projector and drop-down screen in Hall.

  • Wireless connectivity in each room of the school.

  • Upgraded bandwidth to meet requirements.

  • eLearning Coordinator and Technician to support teachers and students.
