Camps and excursions

During the year, the school may undertake educational excursions so that the students may acquire a variety of experiences outside the classroom.  Students normally travel by bus or in some cases by private transport.

Parent permission notes are required for all excursions and in some cases Medical Information Forms are required as well.  Students who wish to go on an excursion must meet the school's requirements concerning appropriate dress and grooming, safety gear and standard of conduct.  Parents are required to meet costs associated with excursions where applicable.  The school will endeavour to inform parents of any costs as early as possible through the excursion planner, newsletters or individual parent notes so that parents have as much time as possible to plan for this expenditure.  All newsletters are found on our School Website.  Middle Park State School has a policy whereby in the majority of cases the information and invoice is issued for the excursion/incursion 5 weeks prior to the event date. Parents & Carers have 4 weeks to pay.  There are occasions where the notice period is shorter than this however our goal is to provide parents with as much notice as possible.
