Middle Park State School recognises as its prime obligation the provision of an educational service to students whose principal place of residence is within the school's catchment area.

The Queensland Department of Education website has information on our:
Prep Enrolments

Enrolments for Prep students are accepted for the following year 12 months in advance. There is no need to enrol any sooner than this. To assist with the planning of open days, and the employment of teachers for the following year it would be appreciated if all students could be enrolled before the end of September.
Each year in term three we hold Prep information evenings for parents. This is followed in term four by orientation days for students to assist their transition to school. We will also arrange for an enrolment meeting with a member of staff.
Important dates for 2020 Prep enrolments:
Monday 21 October and Tuesday 22 October 2019
8.00am to 4.00pm Prep Interviews
November 2019 - date to be advised
9.00am to 10.50am Prep students in Prep classes
9.15am to 10.45am Prep parent information and sharing (in the Library)

Our enrolment pack documents are available on the website, or from our Administration Office.

When coming to the Administration Office to commence the enrolment process please bring with you these required forms/documents:
  • Completed Enrolment forms.
  • Completed Permission forms.
  • The child’s Birth Certificate.
  • Proof of residence within the Middle Park State School catchment area.

Current proof of residency at the address indicated can be provided by way of one of each of the following:

  • one primary source - a current rental/lease agreement, or rates notice, or unconditional sale agreement
  • one secondary source - a utility bill (e.g. electricity, gas) showing this same address and parent's/guardian's name.
The Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages encourages parents to apply for birth certificates early to avoid the back-to-school rush. To apply for a birth certificate, download an application form from the Department of Justice website or lodge your application at the registry at 110 George Street, Brisbane or at your nearest courthouse.

Enrolments in Years 1 to 6

Students may enrol at our school at any time during the year.

In order to enrol, parents should first contact the school office so that our Administration staff can advise you what documentation will be required. This varies depending on whether you are enrolling from another Queensland State School, non-government school, interstate or overseas.

Our enrolment pack documents are available on the website, or from our Administration Office.
